Igreja Batista do Estoril was founded on April 21, 1962, to worship God in community and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our history
The inspiration for IBE began in November 1961 through the missionary dedication of Christians committed to the gospel. On April 21, 1962, the church was formed with 36 founding members. In 1963, it established a pediatric clinic serving Bauru, also expressing its social vocation.
Mission
To live in obedience to God under the cross of Christ for His glory, making disciples of all nations, beginning in Estoril, Bauru, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all that the Lord commanded, knowing that He is with us every day until the end of the age.
Vision
To be a church committed to Christ and His Word, persevering in the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers, in reverence for the Triune God, committed to having no one in need among us, obeying and praising God the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in dependence on the Holy Spirit.
